In this multi-state system, each state has been given its own identity, but the Terai region has been ignored as a whole.
Out of seven states, Terai region only has one state, Koshi, but it is divided into two districts, Sunsari and Morang. The rest of the states have different geographical and topographical conditions, which facilitates the growth of agriculture in different regions.
